Limited Warranty

As described in this limited warranty, we Prestige Annex Body Shop guarantee the repairs we have made to your vehicle.  We warrant that our work shall be of the quality generally accepted in the automobile repair business.  The vehicle to which this warranty applies is described below.  This warranty applies only while the vehicle is owned by you (the person named below), or  your spouse.  The paragraphs below  more particularly describe this limited warranty.

1.  Metal Work:  We provide a limited lifetime warranty against defective metal work, including welding and the application of materials used in making collision repairs against cracking, flaking, pitting, or deterioration.  At our option, we will repair and repaint metal work covered by this warranty.

2.  Painting, Stripes, and Decals:  We provide a limited lifetime warranty on painting,related priming, and related painting work against solvent blistering, peeling, hazing, and excessive loss of pigmentation.  This warranty also applies to the application and adhesion of decorative stripes and decals, excluding any defect caused by extreme environmental conditions.  At our option, we will prime and repaint, or apply new decals to the vehicle.  This paint warranty applies only when the paint is applied over original factory finishes that are free of defect.

3.  Mechanical Repairs:  We provide a one year warranty on all mechanical repairs pertaining directly to original collision damage, excluding suspension, air conditioners, electrical assemblies, or components.  At our option, we will repair any mechanical assembly or component.

4.  Parts:  We use quality parts or materials in our repairs.  We do not, however, guarantee these.  Parts or materials are subject to the guarantee of that supplier.  We will assist you in handling any claim under the supplier’s guarantee.

5.  Items Excluded:  This warranty does not apply if the vehicle has been subjected to accidents, negligence, or misuse.  This warranty does not cover rust, scratches, or gravel marks.  This warranty does not include any incidental costs, such as towing fees, car rental charges, or shipping costs of parts that are not specifically covered by this warranty.  This warranty does not cover any consequential damages, such as damage to the other parts resulting from a defective part or installation included in this limited warranty.  We do not cover sublet work, which is subject to the guarantee of those suppliers.

6.  Additional Limitations:  This limited warranty shall be null and void if the repair is altered, adjusted, or tampered with, by any person not authorized by us.  This warranty is non-transferable.  This limited warranty shall not be varied, supplemented, qualified, or interpreted by any prior course of dealings.
